June 7th, 2022  6PM Garden Greens 

Join us in the garden for this unique blend of gardening and cooking combined into one class. We will spend time working in the garden each night and then bring our harvest into the kitchen. Participants will have time to learn to cook up healthy meals from fresh produce and will enjoy helping to create a dinner for all to share that evening. This class will include a variety of dishes incorporating garden fresh peas, greens, and herbs with dessert created from seasonal fruits. Learn about simple spreads, sauces and jams to liven up your meals.

 


July 12, 2022 6PM  Pesto, Zucchini, and Fennel

Join us in the garden for this unique blend of gardening and cooking combined into one class. We will spend time working in the garden each night and then bring our harvest into the kitchen. Participants will have time to learn to cook up healthy meals from fresh produce and will enjoy helping to create a dinner for all to share that evening. This evening will feature pesto, grilled zucchini and fennel, and a zucchini corn salsa as part of the evening meal. Other dishes will also be explored as part of the seasonal offerings.  Dessert will feature seasonal fruits.  Learn what delights can be made by an easy pickling process.

 


August 4, 2022 10am Tomatoes and Peppers

Join us in the garden for this unique blend of gardening and cooking in one class. We will spend time working in the garden and then bring our harvest into the kitchen. Participants will have time to learn to cook up healthy meals from fresh produce and enjoy helping to create a meal for all to share. Enjoy the peak of the garden offerings featuring tomatoes and peppers as we make hot pepper biscuits, stuffed sweet peppers, and explore classic fresh salsa and other variations. Dessert will be taken from seasonal fruits available.  Learn how to make the most of the harvest to last through the year.
